New House for the Hurds

Lila, Tim and Hugh are old and hiking up a huge 14 bathroom 10 bedroom house isn’t gonna cut it anymore, so I decided on remodeling the “top half” of the house since Backyard stuff came out. I changed my basement a bit so I’m pretty alright with it, but even though I liked the interior of my old house, it was just too massive for 6 people to live in. If there were elevators, I’d probably pop that in and be done with it, but we only have stairs right now so… I guess it’s time to mow it down.

Eating Everything at ‘Chez Llama’

So, I apparently didn’t move everything to google drive and ended up losing pretty much everything. (Woops!)
Luckily, I did save a ton of my backups, so my saves are fine. I’m just sorta down I lost my library and pretty much all of my screenshots besides like 5? That are pretty weird since they’re all out of order, like this one and a few others. …Though this sorta speaks for itself. Probably?
What was complete torture was finding all the CAS cc I downloaded previously. After two days of googling ambiguous terms, I finally got almost everything I used often… And some new stuff too along the way.
Besides spending probably a day or two recreating a few sims I didn’t upload, I can finally play with Dine Out. Phew. Back to the topic, I took my main household over to Chez Llama ’cause I can’t resist being able to see my kids wear formal attire.

Annika passes away

Rotating! Hana and Shaquille find a Hugh as a terrible caterer, Chaim’s suddenly a lady killer, Sophia and Kaden’s relationship worsen–And to top it all off, Annika Terrell-Hurd passes away on the sidewalk.
Despite the family mourning, Lila heads over to a birthday party for a young friend.

Squatters, Heirs, and Babies

I couldn’t stand her clothes, so I changed them–
Usually changing homeless townies’ clothes and appearances never makes you switch to them, but, I found myself playing her. :[
I don’t have any open lots and I can’t kick her to the curb, so, I guess she’s still living with them? 

Adopting a Squatter on my Grandson’s birthday

You usually get your kids something like a pet to show responsibility. I ended up getting a squatter. Argus-Lyle celebrates his birthday in becoming an old man, a mysterious townie comes back to life to become a squatter in the house, and Isaias finally proposes to his long term girlfriend after much, much procrastination.

Committing Tax Fraud and Murder

I had some fun this morning with the higher bills mod since my active household has too much money. Unfortunately, my asian stereotype didn’t pull through and I didn’t calculate how the 11% increase would affect the current funds correctly, so…

I’m pretty sure everyone is aware the household funds limit is 9.9mil, so there was no way of paying that. So much for playing with the higher bills mod, right?

Family Photos and Glitchy GTW

With the Photography skill, I found out I could have family pictures. Unfortunately, my game’s well into the third generation, so pretty much no one’s alive.
I made some clones to take pictures of with Huy, who recently made the switch from a Master Chef to a Detective. He’s been skilling up Photography anyway, so why not? Here’s a few shots of, well, everything that pretty much went down.
